Canva is experiencing a widespread outage. The latest issue with the popular design platform has left several users unable to edit or download their designs. The outage, which began earlier today (November 12), affected users globally and sparked a flurry of complaints on social media. According to the data from the outage tracking platform Downdetector, 972 users across the country have reported issues with the design platform. Apart from India, Canva users in other countries including the US, UK, Australia, Canada and more also reported issues with the platform. However, we at TOI Tech tried accessing the platform and were able to do that without any hindrances. This suggests that the outage is not affecting all users.
Meanwhile, Canva has acknowledged the issue and is working to restore services. The company has not yet provided a timeline for full restoration or an explanation for the cause of the outage.
In a post shared on social media platform X, the company wrote: “We’re on it! We’re aware some people are having trouble accessing Canva. We’re working as quickly as we can to get things back up and running. For updates, visit http://status.canva.com. We really appreciate your patience!”
