Justine Mauvin started surfing at the age of 9 on the waves of Roches Noires in Reunion, according to the Réunion Surf League. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming French and European champion and obtaining a third place at the longboard world championships.
Alongside her sporting career, the young woman has maintained and developed her passion for music. Under the name Sibu Manaï, she has released several titles, including “Waterman” in 2018 and the EP “Vavanguèr” in 2020. Her music mixes pop, Creole and Afro influences, reflecting her origins and her travels according to Sur session.
