what impacts on traffic and parking?

The City of has announced exceptional measures in the historic heart on the occasion of the next Wine Sale and its festivities. “Traffic and parking restriction measures will be put in place from Thursday 14 until Sunday 17 November, to guarantee the security of the area concerned,” announced the community in a press release.

A ban from Thursday evening

For this 2024 edition, vehicle access will be prohibited from Thursday November 14 at 8 p.m. on Place au Beurre, then on Friday November 15 from 10 a.m., Place Carnot, rue Pasumot and Place de la Halle. From 5 p.m., other streets will be blocked, particularly at Place Ziem. On Saturday November 16, from 8 a.m., vehicle access will be prohibited within a much larger area (read elsewhere).

This traffic ban will be extended to the entire city center on Sunday November 17, from 7 a.m. Rue du Faubourg Madeleine is also affected.

Three supporting documents for a pass

Vehicles will not be able to travel between Boulevard Jules-Ferry and Place Madeleine, Saturday from 1 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, certain streets will remain accessible to local residents upon presentation of a pass.

To benefit from the precious sesame, residents of the city center are invited to report to the city's regulatory department, 6 rue de l'Hôtel de ville until Friday, November 15. They must bring their identity document, proof of address (EDF receipt, rent receipt, tax notice, etc.) and their vehicle's registration document.

Finally, residents of the Montagne de Beaune are reminded that the half-marathon and the Foulées Beaunoises will leave at 1:40 p.m. and 2 p.m. “Traffic will be temporarily disrupted. They are therefore advised to make their own arrangements so as not to be hampered in their travels,” indicates the town hall.
