Spotty rain chances for Friday and the weekend

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A mild, muggy Friday is on tap across our area. Isolated showers are possible, but rain chances are not as high as recent days.

Friday Forecast

The average high in Tallahassee for November 8 is 75º, but we are tracking highs around ten degrees above average to close out the work week.

Temperatures top out in the low-to-mid-80s under a partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky.

Spotty showers are possible on Friday, but rain chances are lower than the middle of the week.

For tonight, the forecast is looking drier, but we remain mild and muggy. Overnight lows only fall into the upper-60s and lower-70s under a mostly cloudy sky. Some areas of dense fog are possible.

Weekend Weather

The weather pattern remains slightly unsettled for the weekend.

We are not tracking a washout, but isolated showers are possible on Saturday and Sunday under a partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky.

Temperatures for the weekend top out in the mid-and-low-80s, while lows fall into the upper-60s.

Looking Ahead

For the next work week, we are tracking above-average temperatures for most of week.

Highs hover in the mid-to-lower-80s under a mix of Sun and clouds. Isolated showers are possible, but rain chances are not looking widespread.

Low temperatures settle in the mid-to-upper-60s.

Down the road, models are hinting at a potential cold front by next Thursday/Friday. If the current forecast holds, we could see a shot of refreshing air to end the next work week. We’re talking lower humidity, plenty of sunshine, highs in the mid-70s and lows near 50º. We will keep an eye on it.
