Rather ant or cicada? The singer Eve Angeli was revealed to the general public in 1999 while she participated in the show Star Seeds on M6. Immediately, success was achieved: his first single “Avant depart” sold more than 600,000 copies. At barely 20 years old, the young girl became very rich. “I was, I’m not ashamed to say it, a millionaire at 20”, before specifying: “but it was in francs”, she proudly declared this Saturday, November 8 while the singer-songwriter was invited to the set of Face à Hanouna on C8. The opportunity for the young mother to look back on her beginnings on television as well as the salaries she was able to receive during her career.
In 2004, the artist took part in a confinement reality show : The Farm Celebrity. But Eve Angeli does not have good memories of this experience. “It was from constant anxiety”, affirms the one who got married in 2019 opposite Cyril Hanouna. Before adding: “I felt like I was in prison”. However, Vanessa Garcin, her real name, reveals that her salary at the time was very comfortable: “around 10,000 euros per week“. “The longer we stayed, the more we gained“, explains Lilirose's mother.
Eve Angeli says she's not rolling in gold
Questioned by the host, the 44-year-old singer then confided about her current lifestyle. “What is certain is that I have a house, a roof over my head. I can take trips from time to time even though I no longer have time with my baby. But, I'm not rolling in gold. I am someone who has a moderate incomebut I'm not going to complain” she said.
But during her separation from her ex-partner Michel, Eve Angeli lost a lot of money. “I had just paid off my house, but had to sell it quickly. NOW, I have credit, but I have enough to pay it off.”, confided the one who defines herself as more ant than cicada. Thanks to the sale of her records, the former reality TV candidate attests to having received more than a million euros thanks to her records: “I've sold 1.5 million records, so we can't be far off because I'm a songwriter.”
