audiences: 4.5 million viewers watching the -Japan rugby match on TF 1

There wasn't much suspense at the Stade de this Saturday evening: the French XV crushed the Japanese rugby team with a score of 52-12. The meeting still kept 4.5 million oval ball fans in suspense, or 26.3% of the public present in front of their station. A nice score, one week before a match which promises to be much more exciting: the one between France and the New Zealand All Blacks, which will also be broadcast on TF 1.

La Une therefore comes at the top of the evening's audiences, ahead of France 3 and its “Murders in the Verdon Gorges”. The detective film with Bruno Wolkowitch and Barbara Probst intrigued 3.7 million thriller fans (i.e. 20.5% audience share). On June 24, 2023, during its first broadcast, the fiction attracted 4.4 million people.

France 2 then ranks third with “Don’t forget the lyrics”. The game presented by Nagui, which was won by Laurens, the candidate from , made 2.3 million music lovers sing (13.8% market share).

France 5 is approaching a million viewers with “Échappées belles”, presented by Sophie Jovillard. The issue which was dedicated to Prague attracted 926,000 curious people (5.1% of the public). It's certainly less than last Saturday's event, which took place near Lake Geneva – and which brought together 1.2 million people -, but it's a nice performance.

For its part, M 6 is in small form with “Code Quantum” (2022). The new version of the science fiction series created in 1989 only attracted 669,000 viewers (3.6% audience share). This is even less than the episode scheduled last Saturday, which brought together 980,000 fiction fans.
