Ligue 1: Lee, Niane, Hakimi… The tops/flops of

Discover our tops and our flops following PSG's victory against (2-4) this Saturday on the pitch at the Stade Raymond-Kopa on the occasion of the 11th day of Ligue 1.

The tops

Lee a vu double

Aligned on the right wing of an experimental attack, Lee Kang-in knew how to seize the chance offered to him. The South Korean put his team on the path to victory on the Angers pitch after a difficult start to the match with two goals in three minutes. He even added an assist with a cross to the line for Bradley Barcola just before returning to the locker room. Less visible after the break, like his entire team, he gave way to João Neves for the final moments.

Fofana avoided a heavier defeat

If Angers had a tough time during the first 45 minutes, Yahia Fofana saved his team from an even heavier defeat against the championship leader. Indeed, the Ivorian goalkeeper made eight saves against the Parisian offensive elements. A performance which, however, does not allow us to forget the four goals conceded during a first half to forget for the SCO.

Asensio turned into a smuggler

In the role of “false number 9” which is currently devoted to him by Luis Enrique, Marco Asensio had a far from negligible impact in PSG's performance this Saturday in Angers. Indeed, the Spaniard was able to find Kang-in Lee twice for the capital club to make the break after only 20 minutes. However, he did not forget to try his luck but he did not have the necessary success with his three shots on target.

The flops

Reverse Hakimi

If he was a leader against Atlético de Madrid, Achraf Hakimi was not at the same level this Saturday in Angers. In a chaotic first period on his part, he made technical errors which could have restarted the SCO and did not have the hoped-for impact on his right side. It was no surprise that he gave way to Yoram Zague upon returning from the locker room, who did everything to show himself to his coach.

Niane helpless

Aligned at the forefront by Alexandre Dujeux, Ibrahima Niane did not have an easy match. Indeed, the Senegalese striker was caught in the trap represented by the Parisian central defense Marquinhos-Skriniar. The result was a lack of shots during the 79 minutes he spent on the pitch and a lack of power that caused him problems. He gave way to Bamba Dieng, who was discreet at the end of the match.

Lefort absent

Jordan Lefort was not at ease. The Angevin central defender was dominated by the Parisian attackers, failing to win a single duel and losing far too many balls even though his position requires serenity. A performance that will not be remembered as the Angevin defense conceded four goals during this meeting.
