Several Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches were interrupted for a few minutes this weekend, after supporters threw tennis balls onto the pitch. The revolt was led by the national supporters' association. This scene was notably seen in Bollaert during -, then Raymond Kopa for -PSG this Saturday, 24 hours after seeing the Bauer stadium inaugurate the protest. In both cases, this was accompanied by the deployment of banners against the LFP and broadcasters. “LFP, broadcasters: here’s something to keep you busy for your next two-pronged ideas”we could read in particular from Angers. Supporters thus criticize the League for several of its decisions, and in particular its management of the rights file, in which Bein Sports has been particularly targeted since the start of the season for having imposed the shift of the Ligue 2 multiplex to Friday evening. Throwing these little yellow balls has become a regular protest action in European stadiums over the years, such as in Germany and England.
