On August 3, Numan succumbed to the blows of his attackers while leaving a nightclub in Mâcon. This Saturday, November 9, 600 people gathered to honor his memory during a white march, according to the police.

Amidst the emotions and grief of those who knew him, it was also an opportunity to show the expectation surrounding this affair. The crowd crossed the streets of Mâcon to finish its route in front of the prefecture of Saône-et-Loire.

Fatma Toprakoglu does not rule out repeating this type of initiative in the future. “With each request for release, if it is necessary to do another blank march, I will do it again. We will not give up on the matter. There were no excesses, I asked to be silent, we are not barbarians. Today there were French, Turkish, Portuguese, Moroccans, Algerians… They were all there to support us. We are all together in Mâcon.
