Appearing in the Vendée from the first edition in 1989, the Imoca, 60-foot (18.28 m) monohulls, still make up the entire Vendée Globe fleet. Forty will be on the starting line for the tenth edition of the event this Sunday. Among them, thirteen are of the latest generation: Stand As One (Eric Bellion), Master Rooster V (Yannick Bestaven), Charal (Jérémie Beyou), Macif (Charlie Dallin), Heart Initiatives (Samantha Davies), Malice (Boris Herrmann), It all starts in Finistère-Armor-lux (Jean Le Cam), Holcim-PRB (Nicolas Lunven), Biotherm (Paul Meilhat), Paprec-Arkéa (Yoann Richomme), Vulnerable (Thomas Ruyant), Dubreuil Group (Sébastien Simon) and V and B-Monbana-Mayenne (Maxime Sorel).
