Highlights
– risk of heavy storm rain in the south (see our weather alert)
– frequent showers in the southwest
– unchanged situation on the northern half
This morning
The weather is getting worse in the southwest compared to this summer week. From this morning, sometimes stormy showers began, especially south of the Garonne. Around the Mediterranean, the east wind blows moderately and heavy stormy showers, certainly localized but sometimes very heavy, occur, especially in the Hérault.
The weather is variable in the central regions. Clearings appear in the east. North of the Loire, gray ceiling and foggy visibility persist.
Temperatures are unchanged, ranging from 5 to 7°C in the northeast, 8 to 11°C in general, and 13 to 15°C in the south.
This afternoon
Showers continue in the southwest, especially south of the Garonne. The risk of storms persists in the south-east, particularly on the Côte d'Azur and Corsica.
Over the northern two thirds, the sky remains very cloudy from Poitou to Franche-Comté. North of the Loire, gaps could emerge, particularly in the north-east, but nothing is less certain, as in recent days.
Temperatures remain stationary and mild for the season, 10 to 12°C in the northeast, and 13 to 18°C everywhere else.
Soirée
Showers occur in Midi Toulouse while storms still break out in Corsica. Everywhere else, the weather is calm and dry, but remaining overcast with new fog forming especially north of the Loire.
Further trend
The continuation of week-end will be calmer despite the continuation of the rather stubborn gray weather. The south-eastern quarter will find the sun again on Sunday. This same type of weather will continue for your Monday, November 11, dry, but cloudy.
