Anne Seften, journalist on the LCI channel, was ousted. During a party organized for the channel, she allegedly slapped her editor while under the influence of alcohol.
But what happened between Anne Seften and Nicolas Sengers? The presenter of “Club Seften” on the continuous news channel LCI, would have been removed from the air: “She will no longer return to the air and has left the company”, indicate our colleagues from Puremédiasthus confirming information from journalist Clément Garin. The cause? A violent altercation between the person concerned and her editor.
An argument apparently broke out during an evening organized on September 19 for the 30th anniversary of the LCI channel. In the middle of the event, Anne Sheften allegedly “slapped” Nicolas Sengers “under the influence of alcohol”. “Everything was going well when we heard screams. Anne was yelling at Nicolas, slapped him and security took them out,” reports journalist Clément Garin, who describes a private quarrel between the two colleagues.
TF1's human resources and social affairs department was asked to launch an internal investigation “with respect for everyone's privacy and the protection of employees”, informs the group of the first channel. According to our colleagues at TV Magazinea second investigation – this time for “harassment” – was launched internally, this time against Nicolas Sengers. Anne Seften appeared for the last time in front of LCI cameras last Thursday October 24. Thomas Misrachi then Bénédicte Le Chatelier, followed him on the air.
