At the end of episode 2 of the new season 5 of the police series, Raphaëlle (Lola Dewaere) dives down the stairs to protect a child, during a police operation. This fall causes Commander Coste to have a miscarriage. She thus finds herself in the hospital, in shock, alongside Nico (Benoît Michel). Lola Dewar et Sara Mortensen (Astrid) reacted to Tele-Leisure to this sequence.
Astrid and Raphaëlle : “Raphaëlle is in a form of denial“, says Lola Dewaere
In an interview given to Tele-LeisureLola Dewaere returned to Raphaëlle's miscarriage: “This is going to be a very big trauma for her and for Nico. But Raphaëlle will be more in a form of denial, she doesn't want to talk to Nico about it, or in general. She is in a state of mind where she doesn't want to bother anyone with her story. She locks up all her feelings and at some point, she will have to get them out. Nico will try as best he can to make her spill the beans but she takes refuge in work and is clearly in a depression after losing her child.“And to add:”Nico is very understanding of the situation. She feels very guilty. Raphaëlle is known for being a careerist, for her, it's still a bad choice that she made, as she is very impulsive.“
How will Astrid react when Raphaël loses his baby?
For her part, Sara Mortensen also spoke about Tele-Leisure the reaction of Astrid's character to the drama experienced by her friend: “I think that the first reaction, which perhaps they must not have dared to keep, is a bit of relief, it's one less problem. There, there are no more children. And then she also read that it was possible to lose a child early in a pregnancy so once again it's a fact. Afterwards what will come to affect her is the state in which this puts her friend. Even if Raphaëlle plays it strong.“
