“I harassed”: a podcast that gives voice to someone who has repented of harassment and begs

That's a scary number. One in ten children are victims of school bullyinga figure which would rise to one in two among 7-8 year olds… To try to understand this phenomenon, journalists Estelle Ndjandjo and Paola Guzzo have created a 6-episode podcasts in which we listen to the testimony of Romain, 33, who looks back on his past at college.

Romain was on the other side of the barrier. He was the one who was harassing. This is the originality of the podcast “I harassed“: giving a voice to someone who has repented of harassment.

When we listen to it, we say to ourselves that Romain did not have the typical profile of a harasser. Father a teacher, mother a school nurse, we imagine him growing up in a family rather aware of the subject. And yet… The demonstration is effective: if everyone can be a victim, everyone can also be an executioner. Around 1 million children are victims of school bullying in . Which means that at least as many are among the harassers.
