Two hotel employees are accused of supplying the singer with cocaine on two occasions during his stay at the hotel, the statement said.
Two weeks ago, police raided the luxury Argentine hotel where Liam Payne died, taking a number of items including hard drives and CCTV footage.
Illicit substances found in singer's body
The prosecutor said that during the investigation into the singer's death, “illicit products were discovered, as a result of which three people were charged with abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of narcotics “.
An autopsy report revealed that Liam Payne died from multiple injuries, including internal and external bleeding caused by the fall.
Additionally, investigators found several illicit substances in his body at the time of death, including a recreational drug called “pink cocaine,” a mixture often consisting of ketamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine and other psychoactive substances.
On November 7, the singer's body was released to his family so that his remains could be repatriated to the United Kingdom, his native country, for burial.
