André Villas Boas spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport before Lazio Port. Below are his words.
BETTER AS A COACH OR PRESIDENT – «It’s actually more difficult to control emotions: as a coach you have more possibilities to change the game with substitutions and choices, whereas as president you have a whole other world around the club to control, such as on an economic level: we are in a phase of re-foundation and we have reached an agreement with the international bank to get out of this financial situation. It’s a great club that always wants to win and play in the most important competitions».
OMORIDION – «It was an excellent deal for us, Atletico Madrid allowed us to work calmly and without talking too much, if other clubs had arrived… We were lucky, it is one of the best and we wish the best for the future».
NEW FORMAT – «We still have to try it, everyone is trying to get an idea, even with the ranking it’s difficult where to be: we know it as a club, but in reality it’s impossible for everyone else: we know who the top clubs are, but in reality it’s a difficult competition to understand, perhaps it will accelerate in the last few days».
