Rangers will be without Tom Lawrence for Thursday’s Europa League game away to Olympiakos with the midfielder expected to be out for four to six weeks.
Lawrence was forced off in the first half of Sunday’s League Cup semi-final win over Motherwell and has scored five goals this season, including two in the Europa League.
“He’s been important,” Rangers manager Philippe Clement said.
“He took the role really well this season, scored several really important goals. Not only that, also in the play defensive wise.
“But gives chances to other players to prove themselves.”
Rangers have six points from their opening three Europa League games after securing wins against Malmo and Romanian champions FCSB either side of defeat by Lyon.
Olympiakos, who won the Conference League last season, also defeated Malmo and lost to Lyon, while beating Braga so far.
The fans inside the Greek club’s Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium are known for creating a hostile atmosphere, and Clement is confident his players will “embrace” playing there.
“We need a really big performance from all the squad, all those starting and coming in but I feel also that they are very hungry to do that,” Clement said.
“It’s now to confirm that in this game at a higher level against a better opponent, to raise our level again.”
