another hard blow for Doro Gaye

Businessman Doro Gaye risks losing two properties located in the Cité Keur Gorgui. This is a store and an apartment located on the ground floor of a building in this district, reports Les Échos in its edition this Thursday.

These properties, which Doro Gaye co-owns with his wife, were seized by the Union of Mutuals-Alliance of Credit and Savings for Production (Um-Acep), which is demanding from the businessman the repayment of a loan of around a hundred million francs, indicates the newspaper. Who reports that Um-Acep “notified the judge of the real estate foreclosure chamber”.

The same source informs that the case was examined by a judge of the commercial court last Tuesday. Which, she adds, “referred the case and the parties to the adjudication hearing on December 10”.

Doro Gaye’s store and apartment risk being sold that day. The daily news reports that the price of the two properties is, respectively, 12 million CFA francs and 21 million 350 thousand CFA francs.

This story occurs while the businessman is under judicial supervision for another procedure (land fraud for more than a billion CFA francs). This earned him a short stay in prison. He regained his freedom on June 28 against the commitment to the civil party, within the framework of a protocol, to pay the amount due.
