The famous French YouTuber Inoxtag, who has several million subscribers between Youtube and social networks, was the victim of a burglary yesterday, Wednesday November 6, as announced by our colleagues from Europe 1. According to the latter, “his home was completely searched in the afternoon. Computer equipment was notably stolen. The damage is estimated at nearly 10,000 euros”. The Versailles public prosecutor's office indicated to our colleagues that no arrests had yet taken place. The one who recently released his documentary entitled Kaizen and in which fans of the young man were able to discover his preparation and his ascent of Mount Evrest, spoke on X, former Twitter, to react to the bad news.
Inoxtag victim of two burglaries
Inès Benazzouz, whose real name is, has, in fact, posted a long message in which he first wanted to reassure his subscribers. “Friends, everything is fine with me”, he wrote before revealing that he had been the victim of not one but two burglaries! “Two burglaries in the space of 6 months. The first took place during my climb of Everest, where almost my entire sneaker and watch collection was stolen”he confided. Then continue: “The second took place yesterday: in another house of mine where they broke down the window with a crowbar, after having looked at everything this morning in peace, they did not take anything important.”
The young man born in 2022 admitted that he did not really know why he had been the target of these malicious acts. “I don't know what exactly he was looking for. I'm going to take the necessary precautions to ensure that this doesn't happen again.”he warned, admitting that he did not think “not get to that point“. “I have to put my house under surveillance from today to ensure my safety and that of my loved ones. Thank you to the police officers for their rapid intervention, and thank you all for your messages”he added. He concluded by emphasizing that he did not want to express himself “on the previous burglary but given the number of messages” received, the YouTuber changed his mind and preferred to keep his fans informed.
