PicPay and C6 customers with wallets linked to Google can now use pix by contact, but it is also necessary to register Pix to be able to use it. In the coming weeks, Itaú customers will also be able to use the new feature. The general public will be able to use the functionality from February 28, 2025.
“We developed a tool that allowed Pix to have the same ease, fluidity and security as using wallets for credit and debit card payments. With the new feature, this technology will now be available to millions of consumers who use Pix as their main payment method”, says Mário Miguel, director of payments for Individuals at Itaú.
