Still a lot of low clouds over the northern half on Thursday morning. Beautiful clearings to be expected in Alsace and the south.
On this Thursday, November 7, visibility may be reduced with gray weather throughout the northern half. A cool wind is expected in Alsace and Moselle. There will be risks of thunderstorms in the afternoon in Languedoc-Roussillon, announces the Weather Channel*.
A foggy morning
Clouds will be low on Thursday, sometimes accompanied by fog, especially in the southwest. In the north, the sky remains gray despite partial dissipation in the southwest. Remember to dress warmly as a northeast wind keeps things noticeably cool. To the south and on the mountains, there will be nice clearings. Minimum temperatures are 5°C in Alsace and Lorraine with another 15°C around the Mediterranean.
Beautiful clearings in the south
The sky will generally remain overcast in the north, although clearings may appear in Brittany and towards the Ardennes. A light northeast wind persists in the northwest. Enjoy the sun and mild weather in the southwest for outdoor outings. In the south-east, bring an umbrella as clouds are frequent, with showers possible in eastern Corsica and Roussillon. Be careful of the Autan wind which can reach 60 km/h. Maximum temperatures are 21°C in the Basque Country with another 13°C in the Paris region.
A cloudy evening over the entire northern half
In the north, clouds dominate while the south enjoys clear skies. Plan indoor activities in Languedoc-Roussillon where thunderstorms could occur.
Trend of the next days
Similar weather will persist until the end of the week. On Saturday, a weak disturbance coming from the west could bring some rain. Temperatures will slowly decrease, while remaining above normal. It's the perfect time to break out the mid-season clothes.
