The 40-year-old Republican Ohio Senator is married to Usha Vancewith whom he shares three children: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
The dad of three has shared glimpses of his kids on social media over the years, including a picture of his family of five at the Ohio State Fair in 2022.
“Eleven years ago I brought my new girlfriend to the Ohio state fair. We came back today with three kids in tow and I got to judge the rib competition (the toddler helped). What an awesome birthday!” he captioned the post at the time.
Vance and Usha welcomed their first child, son Ewanin June 2017.
Son Vivek was born in February 2020, whom he addressed on the Senate floor in 2024.
Vivek “was 3 years old yesterday but turned 4 today,” he announced, regretting he couldn’t attend his son’s “birthday dinner,” but assured him: “Daddy loves [him] very much” before reading the Dr. Seuss book Oh, The Places You’ll Go! out loud “because maybe you can watch it at home,” via The Hill.
The couple welcomed their third child, daughter Mirabelin December 2021. He shared the news on Instagram from the hospital.
“We were blessed with an early Christmas present this year. Everyone please meet Mirabel Rose Vanceour first girl. Mama and baby both doing great, and we’re feeling very grateful this Christmas season,” he wrote at the time.
A year later, he celebrated her first outing at a diner. “Baby’s first Skyline. (She loved it!),” he captioned a photo of Usha with his daughter at the Cincinnati restaurant.
More recently, the Republican vice presidential nominee was seen carrying his daughter Maribel alongside Usha during the Park Diner stop on July 28 in St Cloud, Minn.
