The Japanese automotive battery specialist continues its establishment in Douaisis. The recruitment of 350 operators is underway, with the support of the Department. Explanations.
Envision AESC is currently building its 100,000 m factory2 in Lambres-lez-Douai, on 18 ha of land sold by Douaisis Agglo. She is now looking to complete her team of collaborators to run this electric battery giant. The company should ultimately produce 9 GWh of batteries per year, initially intended for the neighboring Ampère Electricity factory for its electric R5 (Renault group).
At AESC, nearly 200 people are already on the job, mainly managers and maintenance technicians. The group has just launched the recruitment of 350 production line operators and line drivers.
Any motivated person can apply, a diploma is not necessary. We seeks above all skills, interpersonal skills and motivation.
Recruitment in several stages
At the Maison Nord Emploi in Douaisis, 25 RSA recipients are already engaged in the recruitment process. Here, around ten coaches support beneficiaries on a daily basis, and systematically present to them the current recruitment campaign at AESC.
For all job seekers, the path is the same:
- Candidates looking for work are invited to a collective information meeting within a France Travail agency. This is an opportunity to listen to the presentation of the offers and ask questions to the human resources professionals.
- Another meeting allows motivated people to take an assessment of their skills using the “Simulation Recruitment Method” (open to all, without CV). These scenario tests reproduce a workstation; exercises allow you to see if the candidate knows how to maintain attention, follow instructions and execute actions with dexterity. The candidate sees for his part whether this job could suit him.
- If the tests are conclusive, an individual motivation interview takes place with AESC human resources and production.
- The selected candidates then complete a 7-week training course financed by France Travail, at AFPI or PERFORMA.
- A contract is signed between the employer and the employee.
Women are obviously welcome, they represent one in two job seekers in Douaisis, according to France Travail. AESC therefore wants to break this masculine image that sticks to the world of industry, and hopes to recruit 50% women into the company. To the wise!
It’s RSA week: beneficiaries are positioning themselves on AESC offers
Until November 13, Maison Nord Emploi du Douaisis, integration partners and France Travail, join forces during the “Succeed Without Waiting” week. This Tuesday, November 5, they notably invited around a hundred RSA beneficiaries to a special Envision AESC collective information meeting. The first scenario tests take place this Thursday, November 8, beneficiaries who wish to apply are supported in their procedures.
