Barcelona is going through a huge phase this season. There are three victories in the last three games, beating Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and beating rival Espanyol 3-1, in the last round of La Liga.

Hansi Flick and company are considered the best team in European football today and, if everything goes as planned, Barça could have Gyökeres' impactful reinforcement next season.

Deco opened the first official talks to sign the Swedish striker for Barcelona. Gyökeres is having a huge season and is the top scorer of the year in 2024, with an incredible 50 goals scored. Haaland, from Man City, is still the big dream, but he is a very expensive player in the European football market.

Barcelona gets ahead of the competition with Deco's action. The Swede is the target of several European football giants, including teams with greater financial power than the Catalan club, such as Man United.

Agreement with Sporting

Jornal A Bola, from Portugal, says that Gyökeres has an agreement to leave Sporting, at a price set between 60 a 70 million euros – that would be the price that Barça would have to pay.

Laporta may have difficulty paying such amounts, as Barcelona's current situation is not one of the best financially, due to the construction of the new Camp Nou stadium and other past issues.

Vitor Roque could be part of the deal. The idea is known: to offer Brazilian football to Sporting, in addition to financial compensation, according to information from the Sport newspaper.

And Lewandowski?

Deco is in a hurry to have everything aligned next season. Gyökeres is seen as the perfect replacement for the Polish Lewandowski due to the age of the number 9, who is going through a great phase under the command of Hansi Flick.
