Real Madrid will host Milan on Tuesday evening as part of the fourth round of the league stage of the European Champions League.
The two teams are among the most successful clubs in the Champions League, sharing 22 titles.
The two ancient clubs remained a destination for major stars, some of whom even wore the shirts of both teams, such as David Beckham and Ronaldo Nazario.
Clarence Seedorf also won the Champions League with both clubs.
Below is a list of players who wore Real and Milan shirts during their football careers:
1-Brazilian Ronaldo Nazario: He played for Real Madrid from 2002 to 2007, winning titles with them (Spanish League, Intercontinental Cup, Spanish Super Cup).
“Al-Dhahira” also played with Milan for one season, 2007-2008, but he did not achieve any title with the Italian team, after he suffered a torn hamstring that kept him out of the field for a long time.
2-Brazilian Kaka: He wore the Milan shirt between 2003 and 2009, winning 5 titles (the European Champions League, the European Super Cup, the Club World Cup, the Italian Super Cup, and the Italian League).
He then played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2013, and achieved a domestic treble before returning to Milan again from 2013 to 2014.
3-Italian Antonio Cassano
This Italian star played for the Royal Club during the period from 2006 to 2008, and he only won the Spanish League with them.
He moved to Milan from 2011 to 2012, where he won the Italian League and Super Cup titles.
4-Dutch Clarence Seedorf
Seedorf played with Real during the period from 1996 to 2000, winning 4 titles with them (the Spanish League, the Intercontinental Cup, the Spanish Super Cup, and the European Champions League).
He played for the Rossoneri between 2002 and 2012, winning 9 titles (the Champions League twice, the Club World Cup, the Italian League twice, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup, and the European Super Cup twice).
5-Brazilian Robinho
The Brazilian played for Real Madrid from 2005 to 2008, winning 3 titles (the Spanish League twice and the Spanish Super Cup).
He defended the colors of Milan from 2010 to 2015, and won the Italian League and Super Cup titles with them.
6- Spaniard Alvaro Morata
Morata played for Real Madrid from 2010 to 2014, and from 2016 to 2017, and won 8 titles with him (the Club World Cup, two European Champions League titles, two Spanish Cup titles, and the same number of Spanish League and European Super Cup titles).
He joined Milan in 2024 and is looking forward to winning titles with him.
7-Frenchman Theo Hernandez
He played in the Merengue ranks from 2016 to 2019, but he spent most of it on loan to other clubs and won 4 titles with Real Madrid (the European Super Cup, the Champions League, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Club World Cup).
He moved to Milan in 2019, and is still playing for them until now, winning the Italian League title with them.
8- Moroccan Ibrahim Diaz
The Moroccan star plays for Real Madrid after returning from the Italian club Milan last season, for which he played from 2020 to 2023.
He won 6 titles with the Royal Club (the Champions League, two Spanish League titles, the European Super Cup, and two Spanish Super Cup titles), while he won the Italian League title with Milan.
9- Spanish Diego Lopez
The Spanish goalkeeper played with Real Madrid from 2005 to 2007, then from 2013 to 2014, and during the two periods he won 3 titles (the Champions League, the Spanish League, and the Spanish Super Cup).
As for the Italian Milan, he left empty-handed during the period he spent with them from 2014 to 2017.
10- Spaniard Fernando Redondo
The Spaniard played for Real Madrid from 1994 to 2000, winning 6 titles with them (the Intercontinental Cup, the Spanish Super Cup, the Spanish League twice, and the Champions League twice).
With Milan, for which he played between 2000 and 2004, he won 3 titles (the Champions League, the Italian League and the Italian Cup).
11-Englishman David Beckham: He played 4 seasons with Real Madrid from 2003 to 2007, and won the Spanish League in his last season, scoring 15 goals and making 41 goals in 142 matches.
At the end of his career, he spent two loan periods with Milan, in 2009 and 2010, before putting an end to his football career, in May 2013, which lasted 20 years.
