Jordan de Luxe testifies about the rape he suffered in “It starts today”

PEOPLE – A chilling testimony. The host Jordan de Luxe, real name Jordan Guisnel, spoke this Monday, November 4 in the show It starts today on France 2 about the rape he suffered when he was 20 years old and had just arrived in Paris.

He explains having left a social evening with a famous person whom he does not name. She wants to accommodate him for the night, because it is late, the RER trains are no longer running. “He wants to pour me a drink. He went to serve it in the kitchen, where I couldn't see him. I drink it. And as I drink the glass, I begin to realize that I am going into another world a little”he says.

“Afterwards it’s a rather special memory. A somewhat stiff memory of a hand arriving and grabbing the back of my neck. And then this is what… He abuses me without my consent”continues the host, who had already confided in these facts on the occasion of the release of his autobiography What are you for? last spring.

The next morning, it was a shock: “I wake up totally naked in bed. He's next. And on the nightstand, I remember this horrible vision of a condom next to it, open. And so I turn around and say to him “but what the hell…”. He says to me “we had a good evening yesterday, it was very nice”. So I don’t say anything, I say to myself “my god”. »

The man who raped her is 20 or 30 years older than him. He still tries to confront him. “I say “but that’s weird” and he says “oh no no but you drank too much””he reports. His attacker finally takes him back to the RER. “(I) have the impression of having been soiled, it’s an absolute horror, an absolute horror”he insists.

It was only 15 years later that Jordan de Luxe dared to talk about this story, in the #MeToo context. “ I'm not going to say anything for 15 years, because you're ashamed and then you feel so dirty… And above all, you say to yourself: but who will believe you? Because he's the one who's famous, not me », he points out.
