The ex-partner of rapper Nekfeu, whose real name is Ken Samaras, announced through her lawyer, Florence Fekom, her intention to file a complaint against him for repeated rapes as well as sexual, psychological and physical. These accusations would cover their entire relationship, which lasted four years, during which she would have lived “in silence and in fear”. The complainant decided to make this case public, based on exchanges between her and the rapper, to raise awareness of the differential legal treatment that she believes she has suffered.
After a first denunciation in June 2023, without filing a formal complaint, Nekfeu’s ex-partner contacted the police again in June 2024 to complete her initial statement. She was heard in August 2024, but denounced the lack of consideration of the police, whom she accused of having mistreated her approach. Separated from the rapper since her pregnancy, the complainant claims to have left him to protect their young child, whom they had together.
Nekfeu publicly reacted to his ex-wife’s accusations on November 4, 2024 via a press release relayed by his lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, on the social network that they had already been dismissed by the courts. According to him, the ex-partner was also arrested recently for the “disturbing disappearance” of their 3-year-old son, of whom he has had custody since March.
Nekfeu accuses his ex-partner of not having accepted their divorce, which began three years previously, and assures that she would have attempted financial blackmail by threatening to publicize the affair if a large sum was not paid to her. To defend his position, he indicates that he has transmitted evidence to the authorities, including family testimonies, and specifies that the mother of his son will have to answer these facts in court in January 2025.
To conclude, Nekfeu expressed his support for victims of domestic violence, while mentioning that certain accusations can, in rare cases, be motivated by malicious intentions. He thus declares that he feels the victim of such motivations, and underlines the importance of letting justice decide in this complex matter.
