In Spain, psychosis around the “hidden deaths” of flooded underground car parks

Six days after the torrential rains which fell on Valencia, rumors and concerns are spreading around hundreds of victims who were potentially trapped in underground car parks.

Underground places, where cars accumulate, death traps of these floods, and where a movement of panic can sow chaos and trap everyone inside. Six days after the torrential rains in Valencia, emergency services are concentrating their efforts on the region's car parks. Conflicting information and rumors have been multiplying since the weekend. Two interlocutors of King Felipe, during the incidents which punctuated his visit on Sunday to Paiporta, questioned him on the supposed “hidden deaths » parking lots. A climate of quasi-psychosis fueled by the fear, which for the moment is not supported by any facts, that hundreds of victims were trapped in parking lots, particularly those of large shopping centers.
