Discover our tops and our flops following 's victory against (1-2) this Sunday on the pitch at the Stade de la Beaujoire during the closing match of the 10th day of Ligue 1.

The tops

Glad to take the chance

Neal Maupay did not miss the meeting. While Elye Wahi has been favored by Roberto de Zerbi since the start of the season, the striker on loan from Everton found a starting place during this trip to Nantes. It took him barely 24 minutes to thank his coach for this mark of confidence by opening the score for Marseille, with his only shot on target. Present in the duels, he put the Canaries rearguard in difficulty, especially in the first period. Which could allow him to score points to occupy the forefront of the Marseille attack more permanently.

Kadewere gave hope

While Nantes remained on six games without a victory before this meeting, Tino Kadewere sent shivers through the aisles of the Stade de la Beaujoire. The former Lyonnais, very visible during the 80 minutes spent on the pitch, will remain the most dangerous Nantes player in front of Geronimo Rulli's cage. A performance that the Zimbabwean punctuated with the equalizing goal at the end of the first period. Which, however, was not enough to put an end to the Canaries' bad patch, who saw the red zone getting closer and closer.

Greenwood pulled his team out of trouble

His bad match against PSG is well forgotten. Aligned on the right of the Marseille attack, Mason Greenwood has regained a good part of the energy that was his at the start of the season. Being a permanent danger for the Nantes defense, the English striker. Although he failed against Alban Lafont in the first period, he corrected his situation on the hour mark to offer OM a precious victory which allowed them to regain second place in the Ligue 1 standings. Shortly after, he gave way to Lilian Brassier to offer more defensive support to his team.

The flops

Coco in pain

His assist for Tino Kadewere at the very end of the first period will remain a sham. Lined up as a right back for this match, Marcus Coco did not put in a successful performance even though he had Jonathan Rowe in front of him. With few balls to play, he did not shine in the duels and did not have the offensive contribution that Antoine Kombouaré could have hoped for. The Canaries coach ended up replacing him 20 minutes from the end of the match with Kelvin Amian, more accustomed to the right-back position.

Rabiot with absent subscribers

The graft hasn't taken yet. For his fifth match in the colors of Olympique de Marseille, Adrien Rabiot was not to his advantage. In difficulty in duels and clumsy in handling the ball, the former Juventus player was not an asset for his team and his only stroke of brilliance will remain his shot which found the post seven minutes from the end regulation time. Fortunately for him, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was equal to himself, that is to say solid at the heart of the Marseille game.

Clumsy Simon

Of the four Nantes offensive elements, Moses Simon was the only one to play the 90 minutes of this meeting. However, the Nigerian striker did not offer the Nantes public the best version of himself. Not having taken his chance in front of the Marseille goal, he was too soft in the duels and was unsuccessful in dribbling, not to mention a very large number of lost balls. The offside sanctioned at the very end of the match was symbolic of his entire performance.
