Meeting the artists

Born in Haiti in 1968, Herby Moreau briefly lived in Congo with his parents and two sisters before setting foot in Quebec at the age of 5. His family first settled in the Côte-des-Neiges district of Montreal.

After studying at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, where he notably met the producer and host Julie Snyder for whom he later worked, Herby Moreau studied communications at the University of Montreal. He then flew to to pursue studies in journalism.

Upon his return to the province, Herby Moreau took his first steps on television, notably as a journalist for the cultural review Flash on the TQS channel. He never left the small screen after that, finding himself at the helm of a variety of shows. He notably hosted the Auditions Star Academyat TVA, and the artistic magazine District Von the now defunct channel V.

From his countless encounters on the world's red carpets, he drew the book Glamor and faux pas in 2014, in which he revealed secrets and anecdotes about his meetings with Céline Dion, Madonna and even George Clooney.
