Florin Andrei, the referee of the match University of Craiova – FCSB, eliminated Ștefan Vlădoiu, the right defender of the Oltene team, before the break.

The second yellow card for Vlădoiu came in the 42nd minute. The right defender fouled Octavian Popescu from behind, and Florin Andrei showed him the “yellow”. The “central” signaled Vlădoiu to leave, the player slowly started to walk towards the side of the field, but something was missing.
Florin Andrei had not shown Stefan the red card. Alexandru Băluță, the attacking midfielder from FCSB, intervened vehemently and drew the referee’s attention. He later took the red card out of his pocket, and Ștefan Vlădoiu went to the booth before the end of the first half.
Although it was not harsh, the entrance of the player from Craiova could have consequences for Tavi Popescu. Vlădoiu fell on the foot of the “decar” from FCSB, and he limped out of the field, where he received medical care from the red-blue staff.
Ionuț Chirilă: “At Vlădoiu we are talking about the intelligence of a player”
Invited to GSP Live, Ionuț Chirilă harshly criticized Ștefan Vlădoiu for the foul that led to his elimination.
“You can’t beat anyone in this situation, Craiova is not a soft team. At Vlădoiu we are talking about the intelligence of a player. Vlădoiu is not allowed to do that, in the middle of the field, in a phase that did not announce anything. Why are you doing this?”, declared Ionuț Chirilă at halftime of the Craiova – FCSB match, at GSP Live.
