In 2019, Dominique Lagrou-Sempère lost her husband, Claude Sempère, who died of lung cancer. A dramatic event for the journalist, who has since been able to get back on her feet by starting her own business and even finding love again. But while November 1, All Saints' Day, serves to honor the dead, the presenter of the YouTube channel Between you and me wanted to take a step back from the progress made over the past five years. The opportunity for her to send an unequivocal message to those who did not support her in her mourning or even who “betrayed”.
Indeed, it was in a long statement published on X that the journalist did not mince her words, sending her subscribers a life lesson about people who are not true friends. “Those who put on a brave face. Those who disappeared. The not very brave ones. The socially correct ones. Those who betrayed me”she wrote. Always so positive, she still wanted to see the best of her situation, reassuring her subscribers: “You know what? Life naturally sorts it out. And reveals those who touch the heart and who remain or appear on the path. Mine.” And to conclude: “I followed my heart, the one that never betrays. I love with all my strength today. And I chose the freedom to create and undertake. Without fear.” Enough to give hope to all those who read it.

Dominique Lagrou-Sempère: how she transformed her pain into strength
Still affected by the death of her husband, Claude Sempère, Dominique Lagrou-Sempère explained on the set of TPMP even in summer last June having succeeded in transforming his pain into strength, using “this test of life” to shape your chain Between you and me. “Death, as disgusting as it is, can give you an electric shock, which will align you with what you are.” Jean-Pierre Pernaut's close friend then indicated the realization she had: “Whether we are at the top of the social ladder or at the bottom, we are all the same, we have all experienced pain, on a small or large scale, and it is up to us, deep down in our guts, to climb back up.”
