With five days to go until the election, Donald Trump is on the campaign trail in New Mexico and the swing state of Nevada, where he is hosting back to back rallies.
The former president’s trip to the Navajo Nation comes hot on the heels of Tim Walz, who visited the region last week. In the second of his two afternoon events, Trump is expected to hammer home his message on the economy, claiming Kamala Harris has made the dream of home ownership inaccessible for Americans.
Trump is then hopping over state lines to Arizona, where he is sitting for a live interview with Tucker Carlson, the former Fox TV host.
Ms Harris is also stopping off in Arizona and Nevada, with rallies planned in Phoenix and Reno. She will then host an evening rally across town from Trump in Las Vegas, where Jennifer Lopez, the singer, is due to perform.
Mr Walz, her running mate, is campaigning on her behalf in Pennsylvania and will be delivering remarks at an event in Bucks County – where Republicans on Wednesday launched a legal challenge over voters allegedly being blocked from picking up mail-in ballots. The vice presidential candidate will also be making a stop-off in Erie, which has been targeted by Democrats as one of the most important counties to win in the battleground state.
Meanwhile, JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, is taking part in a town hall event targeting a Gen Z audience, as the Trump campaign continues its efforts to drum up support among younger voters.
