Will Still got angry at PSG: “I wanted to remain polite…” – Tout le football

PSG beat Racing this Saturday in the first part of the evening. At the break, Sang & Or coach Will Still got annoyed and was warned.

We know the character of Will Stilland he earned another card this Saturday. However, the Belgian coach claims to have wanted to remain calm and polite when he asked for explanations from the refereeing body, first at half-time of PSG-Lens, then in the second half.

Lens found themselves reduced to 10 men in the second half following the expulsion of Abdukodir Khusanov, which Will Still did not necessarily understand. “The red card, I was told that it could be given… Come on, I accept,” declared the Belgian on DAZN after the match.

“There is an intervention ten seconds later which seems borderline to me but too bad, we are not going to worry.” However, Still will take a yellow card that he doesn’t really understand. “I find it a shame. I know that I have my own way of expressing myself, I gesture a lot, but I really wanted to remain polite,” he says.

“I asked the fourth referee for an explanation. Not only did they not give me one, but I also got a yellow… It’s a shame. I have nothing against anyone, I just want some honesty,” continues Will Still. In the game, however, he recognizes that Lens was not to his advantage.

“We had to show more grit and personality in what we wanted to do. We will have to win against ,” summarizes the Sang & Or coach.
