was in difficulty before his trip to the Stade Malherbe Caen field. If the Corsicans only conceded their second defeat on Saturday November 2 in (0-2), they now remain on six games without a victory in Ligue 2. Coach Benoît Tavenot recognizes that the penalty not whistled for his team changed the course of the match, but consider that this is not the only factor.

Benoît Tavenot (SC Bastia): “We’re going to have to change something”

The penalty notably turned the match around. But it's not just that. We had situations that we didn't convert so we can't hide behind that alone. I can't fault the players for their involvement. But we weren't technically fair enough. And it's been going on for some time. I'm going to look forward to this week, but something will have to change. It's not a question of players, but of how things are done. The players are marked. We need to bring back a little carefreeness. We all got along really well from the start. We need something else. I'm talking hotly of course, I have to find levers, I have to approach the week and the match differently.

We lack spontaneity. We didn't make the right move at the right time today. But it is the sequence of matches that will help the players progress. Competition feeds players. But I have nothing to reproach them for. The dynamic is not good from an accounting perspective. I think Caen was successful in this victory, but their players made the difference.

We have to bounce back as quickly as possible and it's against Laval.
