OL: Pierre Sage’s rant

OL produced a very divided performance this evening against LOSC (1-1). But if we had to remember one positive thing, it would be the spirit displayed in the second half by Les Gones, after a completely topsy-turvy first period. And this is what Pierre Sage noted, in substance, at the microphone of DAZN after the match, with strong words. “I find our first half unacceptable. We abandoned ourselves. We were unworthy of being Olympique Lyonnais. There was no intensity, no mentality to play this match to be competitive. The mistake Lille made was to leave us alive. At halftime I told them I didn’t care about the score. I wanted to see OL on the pitch”he cursed, before ending on a positive note.
