In a few dozen minutes, LOSC will return to the pitch at the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy to face OL. Here are the official compositions of this 112th duel.
It’s an understatement to say it, but LOSC had a simply Dantean month of October and must, after a few days of respite, roll up its sleeves again in order to face tough adversity. This is none other than Pierre Sage’s Olympique Lyonnais, seventh in the French championship at the end of its first nine days. Over the last three seasons, neither of these two teams has really managed to decide between them with a record of two victories, two defeats and two draws in six confrontations. Ironically, the successes were never pocketed by the team which played on its lawn. Only the Coupe de France, twice for Les Gones, is an exception.
As the kick-off of the match, the 112th of its kind, approaches, LOSC and Olympique Lyonnais revealed their official line-ups. On the side of the Mastiffs, Chevalier
will occupy the cages while Meunier,
Diakite, Mandi et
Gudmundsson will be in defense. The midfield duo is occupied by André et
Mukau while Angel will occupy the position of 10. In attack, Sahrawi,
David et Zhegrova will try to shake the nets. The little surprise is the absence of André Gomes, probably affected or ill. On the OL side,
Perri will be on goal while
Maitland-Niles will occupy the position of right defender. On the left, it will be Tagliafico and the axis is composed of Caleta-Car et
No matter what. In midfield, three Gones will occupy this space. It is about Veretout,
Matic, Tolisso. Finally, the offensive trio is made up of Cherki,
Lacazette et Breathe.
