Astrid, Raphaëlle and Alexandra Ehle: What does the crossover series with Julie Depardieu, Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere have in store for us?

“We had a good laugh,” says Julie Depardieuwho plays Alexandra Ehle, the forensic doctor in the series of the same name, on 3. We started filming this crossover with Lola (Dewaere, alias Raphaëlle Coste, editor's note) with a scene where we are very drunk. I assure you, there was no alcohol in our glasses. We just drew on our memories to find the good feelings. Only in French series do heroines get closer by downing three bottles of wine in a rowe. »

The idea of a crossover between fictions Alexandra Ahle on one sideAstrid and Raphaëlle on the other, came from their joint production company, JLA Productions (Les Mystères de l'amour, Camping Paradis, etc.). After having validated the initial intention with France Télévisions, we had to adapt to find the right rhythm, knowing that the episodes of Alexandra Ehle (five seasons) last 90 minutes, while those of Astrid and Raphaëlle ( four seasons) are in 52 minute format. For this “first episode”, called An eye for an eyeAstrid (Sara Mortensen) and Raphaëlle are sent to Aquitaine, after an eyeball was found in a jar of onions, while its rightful owner, rather his body, was discovered near a trash can, in

We are talking about a “go episode”, because there will be a “return episode”: this time, it is Alexandra Ehle (Julie Depardieu) and her brother, police commander Antoine Doisneau (Bernard Yerlès), who should take the train to . If Julie Depardieu didn't put his two cents into the scenario (“I'm terrible at this sort of thing and, what's more, I don't have everyone's tastes, so it's better not to listen to me too much if I make suggestions…”), the authors had fun writing a bicycle scene, referring to the film Les Valseuses (1974), which revealed their fathers to the cinema: Gérard Depardieu et Patrick Dewaere.

JULIE BLUFFED BY SARA

On the set, what surprised Julie the most, who, however, knew Astrid and Raphaëlle a little and had revised by watching a few episodes, was the acuity of her acting. Sara Mortensen, who plays Astrid, the autistic documentalist. “ The first scene together was when we met in the morgue, Julie says. Although I knew who her character was, I remained taken aback when I saw her with her facial expressions, her hand movements, her looks too, and then her way of expressing herself. I really believed it. She knows her character so well. The director shocked me by saying: “You would have seen your face!” He kept all my reactions on screen. »

And what’s next, apart from this second crossover episode? “ My son, who is 13, continues Julie, keeps telling me right now: “Get out of your comfort zone!” As I was asked for my opinion on the emotional evolution of my own character, I put forward a slightly crazy idea, but I'm not sure I'll be heard. »Would George Clooney come as a guest in the new season? Julie bursts out laughing: “ No, that's not my type at all! »
