The fans don’t want Renard “the pest” but the players do the job, here’s what to remember from Tubize Braine – Anderlecht (0-4)

The premiere of Kikkenborg and Lapage

Kikkenborg got his first start. Ten months after his arrival as goalkeeper number 3. The current understudy of Coosemans took advantage of the rest of the holder to play against Tubize. Work-wise, he had almost nothing to do except for a nice save in the 73rd minute. So it’s difficult to judge him. He picked a few balloons and mostly touched the leather of the feet.

He made the RSCA supporters laugh when he believed that the “Wouter buiten” were encouragement towards him when he returned to the pitch in the second half. They finally chanted his name a little later.

Lapage also made his debut by getting a good twenty minutes replacing Simic. Aside from a poorly controlled slide offering the opponent a corner, he did the job with several interventions full of confidence.

Amuzu earns points

Amuzu only played 45 minutes. A little more than in recent weeks. And even in such a short time, he showed that he was the most dangerous element of the offensive line. He deserved to be credited with an assist for Vazquez and caused the penalty. Hubert wants to see him gain strength before giving him more minutes of play. He had only played 383 minutes before this match. He had a series of injuries.

Rififi for the penalty

Funny scene during the opening score. It clearly illustrates the latent frustrations among certain players in the group. Dreyer grabbed the leather but Vazquez wanted to kick the penalty. The Argentinian got angry with a ball that was lying around, sending him far away. He had words with Verschaeren who asked him to remain calm. The striker reacted well by wishing Dreyer good luck.

“Wouter outside” and stands

The entire Anderlecht stand started chanting “Wouter buiten (Editor’s note: outside)” at the end of the first period. The chants were powerful and were repeated during the match.

The choice to appoint Olivier Renard as technical director did not please. They made this clear via two banners: “Nobility = silver fox. The other is harmful” and “Fox not welcome.” The message is clear: the president’s choice had better be the right one if he hopes to put out the fire.

On the other hand, they wanted to thank Jesper Fredberg for his work. They chanted his name and held a banner to that effect.
