Subject to approval from the authorities, United Grinding Group will take over the machine manufacturer GF Machining Solutions (GFMS) from Georg Fischer AG. Both companies have signed an agreement on this. The aim is to position ourselves even more powerfully in the market and to serve global customers with even more comprehensive solutions in the future

United Grinding Group announces the signing of an agreement with Georg Fischer AG to acquire its GF Machining Solutions Division. Together, United Grinding and GFMS will join forces and become a global leader in ultra-precision machining. The value of the transaction is between CHF 630 million and CHF 650 million. The transaction is expected to close in Q1/Q2 2025, subject to regulatory approval.

In addition, GFMS offers spindles as well as solutions for automation and digitalization, supported by global customer service and support.
