Trump gives “one of the most extreme speeches in recent history of American presidents” during election rally, according to CNN

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held an election rally at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday evening.

In that world-famous hall in New York, Trump delivered “one of the most extreme speeches in the recent history of American presidents,” writes CNN. Other speakers also made extreme statements during the rally.

Speakers early in the meeting used racist and misogynistic language to warm up a packed room. Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe caught the eye by comparing Puerto Rico, many of whose residents live in New York, to “a floating island of trash in the middle of the ocean.” He also said that Latinos “love making kids.”

Puerto Rican stars, such as reggaeton star Bad Bunny and singer Ricky Martin, expressed their support for Kamala Harris afterward by sharing videos of her. “This is what they think of us,” Ricky Martin wrote on Instagram alongside Hinchcliffe’s speech. He called on his 18 million followers to vote for Harris.

Attack on Harris

Also among the crowd-pleasers were Elon Musk, Robert Francis Kennedy Jr, wrestler Hulk Hogan and former ultra-conservative Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The latter, like Trump himself, launched the attack on Harris. Trump said, among other things, that she is “obviously an individual with a low IQ.”

“You have destroyed the country (…) Kamala, you are fired, go away!” said Trump. Afterwards, he denounced an “invasion” of migrants in the United States and again promised “the largest deportation” in the country’s history.

Trump once again called his political opponents “enemies from within.” The Republican presidential candidate also repeatedly spoke about his plans to stop illegal immigration and deport migrants he described as “vicious and bloodthirsty criminals.” He also said that “any migrant who kills an American citizen deserves the death penalty.”
