Weather for the All Saints’ Day long weekend: between full sun and stubborn gray weather

For your next long weekend (from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd November), if you are assured of calm weather, the sun will often be desired, especially in the plains and in the valleys. In any case, your return from vacation will be peaceful, but watch out for fog on the roads!

is guaranteed to remain under anticyclonic influence. It is therefore calm weather which will accompany you throughout this long weekend.

A dry Friday

The weather will be calm everywhere. North of the Seine as well as in the Alsace plain as far as Lyonnais, the low clouds will be tenacious. In the mountains, the sun will shine from morning to evening.

We expect 7 to 12°C in the morning and 14 to 20°C in the afternoon from north to south.

Clouds Saturday

The high pressure will retreat towards the Irish Sea. Clouds will invade a large part of the country. However, it will not rain, because the pressure field will remain very high, around 1030 hPa.

If the minimum temperatures are of the same order as Friday, they will start to drop in the afternoon, losing 2°C compared to the day before.

A calm and a little cooler Sunday

We will maintain calm weather. But once again, to enjoy the sun, you will have to be in the mountains and on the Mediterranean side. In fact, low clouds and grays will have difficulty lifting on the plains and in the valleys.

It will be cool with 2 to 10°C at daybreak from the northeast to the shores of the Mediterranean and 9 to 17°C from Alsace to the Côte d'Azur and in Corsica in the afternoon. We will return below seasonal norms.
