We're leaving for a tour tonight with four matches on the program and some very nice people on the floor. Luka Doncic vs Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic vs Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, we're going to have a blast!
The NBA program of the night:
- Washington Wizards – Boston Celtics at 1am
- Dallas Mavericks – San Antonio Spurs at 1:30 a.m.
- Denver Nuggets – Oklahoma City Thunder à 4h
- Sacramento Kings – Minnesota Timberwolves at 4 p.m
The recovery for Victor Wembanyama, the great first for Alexandre Sarr
We will be watching our French very closely this night, there are six of them who will be able to take the floor in the four upcoming matches (more details here). Victor Wembanyama inevitably attracts the spotlight, he who should reach a new level this season after an extraordinary rookie year. It will be at 1:30 a.m., in a Texas derby against Luka Doncic's Mavs, recent NBA finalists.
A little earlier, we will have stopped in the federal capital of DC to see Alexandre Sarr, second pick from the last Draft, make his debut in the NBA. Faced with champion Boston, impressively easy two days ago against New York, Washington could take on water. We will at least have the opportunity to see Sarr in action as well as Bilal Coulibaly.
Nikola Jokic – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, duel of MVP candidates in the Rockies
Take two of last year's three MVP finalists and put them on a court, you'll have a dream poster. This is what awaits us at 4 o'clock in Denver with Nikola Jokic, reigning MVP, who welcomes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a Thunder team which no longer hides its title ambitions. It will also be an opportunity for Russell Westbrook to meet his favorite team. A duel that smells like the Playoffs even though we are only on the third day of the regular season.
Finally, we will scan California to see if the Kings are finally getting up to speed. The preseason hasn't been very reassuring for Sacramento and they face an injured beast in the Wolves, disappointing against the Lakers two days ago and eager to get their season underway. Anthony Edwards will have a scoring duel against De'Aaron Fox while Rudy Gobert and Domantas Sabonis will engage in a big battle for control of the racket. To be continued from 4 a.m. in the town of Beam.
