In the brand new documentary ‘More than a dream’, singer and VTM presenter Laura Tesoro (28) gives an honest insight into the tough road she took – and with which she still struggles – to realize her musical dream.
Second place in ‘The Voice of Flanders’, representative of Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest with ‘What’s The Pressure’ and a guest twice in ‘Liefde Voor Muziek’: Laura Tesoro (28) has already achieved many musical gems. Music is her first and greatest passion, although that career does not always go as hoped. In the documentary ‘More than a dream’ the singer shows how, despite the obstacles, she remains determined to conquer her place in the music world.
Breaking taboo
In addition to being a singer, Laura is also a popular television face. She stars as a presenter in programs such as ‘Tien Om Te Zien’, ‘Belgium’s Got Talent’ and ‘The Voice Kids’. ‘I have reached a point in my career where making television is my profession and generates income, but music remains my greatest passion. It is becoming increasingly difficult to make a living with music and I think there is surprisingly little talk about it. With this documentary I want to break that taboo and show how hard and challenging, but also how beautiful the music industry can be.’
At the beginning of 2024, she decided to pull out all the stops and invest fully in new music. With the necessary ups and downs, but also with her immense passion and inexhaustible perseverance, Laura continues to make her dream come true.

The documentary shows Laura without a filter. The perfect picture makes way for honesty, vulnerability and, above all, perseverance. Behind the scenes it appears to be an ongoing struggle to turn music into a full-fledged career. Using honest testimonies and a combative mentality, she shows how thin the line between success and giving up can sometimes be.
