Benyamin Netanyahu’s residence hit by a drone…

The Israeli army continues to advance in the north of the Gaza Strip. In Beit Lahia, a hospital was surrounded and targeted by tanks, according to health authorities. “Israeli tanks completely surrounded the hospital, cut off the electricity and fired shells targeting the second and third floors,” said the director of the Indonesian establishment, Marouane Sultan. “This poses serious risks to medical staff and patients,” he stressed. “More than 40 patients” and caregivers were injured, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health.

“A drone was launched towards the Prime Minister’s house in Caesarea. The Prime Minister and his wife were not there and the incident caused no casualties,” said Benjamin Netanyahu’s office. His services did not specify whether the Prime Minister’s residence was the “structure” targeted by a drone, cited earlier by the army.

Two people were killed on Saturday in an Israeli strike which targeted the highway linking Beirut to northern Lebanon for the first time since the start of the war between Israel and Hezbollah, the Health Ministry said. “An Israeli enemy strike on a car in Jounieh left two people dead,” the Health Ministry announced. The National News Agency said the strike took place on the highway linking the capital to the north of the country.

The Israeli military announced that a drone identified as coming from Lebanon hit a “structure” in the coastal city of Caesarea in central Israel on Saturday. The drone “hit a structure in the Caesarea region,” the army said without providing details, while specifying that there were no injuries. Two other drones were intercepted, the army added.

The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas is “alive and will remain so” despite the death of its leader Yahya Sinouar killed during an Israeli military operation, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday. “His loss is certainly painful for the resistance front” against Israel “but it will not stop at all with the martyrdom of Sinwar,” Ayatollah Khamenei assured in a press release.

Lebanese Hezbollah said it sent “explosive drones” to an Israeli “air defense” military base in the center of the country near the town of Hadera, shortly after announcing a missile strike in northern Israel.

Like every day, the editorial staff of 20 Minutes is mobilized to give you all the information on the Middle East. As the guns speak in Lebanon and Gaza, causing thousands of civilian casualties, the conflict could further expand. Alongside its war against Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas, Israel claims to be preparing its response to the Iranian missile attack launched on October 1 against its territory.
