Nîmes Olympique: a good little point and a few small regrets for the Crocs traveling to

Solid in defense, the Crocos, who perhaps missed the boat on Friday in attack, did the job in Burgundy.

The clock is still ticking (4th match without defeat) but draws do not advance. Despite the one obtained on Friday October 18 in , their fourth, the Crocos, who have still not scored on the road, fell two places in the standings.

The point taken remains appreciable and it is accompanied by some (small) regrets because Nîmes could have won.on a twist of fate”as recognized by Baptiste Ridira, coach of the DFCO, who still “the feeling of having let two points slip away”. “We can do the heistconfirmed Adil Hermach, but for that, we would have had to be meaner in front of goal.”

The results of the 9th day and the ranking

Abdeljelil’s miss just before the break

The crocodile coach had this action in mind in added time of the first act. Mexico shifted (badly) Abdeljelil to his left. Alone against Delecroix, the crocodile center forward couldn’t get the ball away… By scoring his team’s first away goal, the former player would have given him a real helping hand.

Only a quarter of an hour left

Because the Gardois, after a balanced start to the match, had just spent more than a bad quarter of an hour, twenty-five full minutes. In fact, we wondered, given the number of balls that had flown into the area, how Dijon had managed not to disrupt the situation.

It’s that Diouf and Mendy had multiplied in defense, making their large size speak for themselves, it’s that Paviot had opportunely repelled a strike from the left from Marié who started well (44th), it’s that neither Souici’s header (30th) nor Parsemain with the tip of his foot (35th) had found the target. “There was always a leg, a head, a body to deviate”paid tribute to Ridira. “I loved the dedication of the whole team”supported Hermach.

Dias was in the cages

Preferred over Ngapandouetnbu, returned late from selection and arrived in Dijon only on Friday morning, by train and ill, Dias had experienced cold sweats. Much more than Delecroix, just worried by this ball brushed with the head by Camara (mexico center, 3rd) and this left pivot shot from the same Camara (26th).

A compact and united defense

Something had to be done so that Nîmes, asphyxiated by the Burgundian pressing and which could no longer bring out the slightest ball, loosened its grip. Hermach chose to bring in Ali Abdallah in place of Marcel.

Even if the crocodile formation was less cornered in its 16.50 meters and initiated a few counterattacks, this hardly changed the general situation and this devil of Ikanga still made the defense dizzy, always compact and united to counter his attempt (52nd ), Parsemain then being too short to take his center (65th).

A part that becomes disjointed

The DFCO still dominated, but in a less conquering way, in a game which became disjointed as the minutes passed, and without ever finding the solution against the Crocs who hung on and let nothing go.

Crocs who responded with rapid transitions which were not always controlled until the end, but could have allowed the decision to be forced. Alas, Amara sent her shot into the air (87th) and Bouaoune’s header, who a few seconds earlier had hesitated to take his chance, ended up in the side net (90th + 1). “That’s a good point.”assured Hermach.

The Crocos scores: Dias (6) – Labonne (5), Diouf (7), F. Mendy (cap.; 7), Paviot (5) – Doukansy (6), Picouleau (5) – Marcel (4) ( Ali Abdallah, 46th; Mexico (5), Camara (4) – Abdeldjelil (4).
