«It sold. We knew we had a very difficult task. It’s the best team at the moment in Portugal, we knew we would have more low moments defending. We tried to have a more solid midfield in defense, which would allow us to move and, under the ball, cover the passing lines. When we had the opportunity to make a dent, we took advantage. We faced defeat until the last minute. In the last fifteen minutes we were more audacious and wanted to press higher, we reached the goal and in a moment of transition Sporting made it 2-1. Sporting had more chances but my players had a fantastic attitude, I have to congratulate them.”
