Who is Moaz Jami, the new governor of the Fez-Meknes region?

On Friday, October 18, 2024 AD, corresponding to Rabi’ al-Thani 14, 1446 AH, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, chaired a ministerial council at the Royal Palace in Rabat.

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 49 of the Constitution, and on the proposal of the Prime Minister, and on the initiative of the Minister of the Interior, His Majesty the King, may God bless him, kindly appointed Moaz Jama’i as governor of the Fez-Meknes region, and governor of the prefecture of Fez.

Moaz Jami was born on July 22, 1962 in the city of Fez.

Moaz Al-Jamai, who holds a doctorate in computer science in and a postgraduate diploma in computer science in , began his professional career in 1984 as a research engineer at Renault. He was also appointed in 1989 as General Manager of “ESMA” Company, a position he held until 1992, when he was appointed General Manager of “Axis Technology” Company, then General Manager of “Cap Info” Company in 1998.

Moaz Jamaï was appointed director of the Regional Investment Center for the Casablanca region in 2002, a position he held until he gained the supreme confidence of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on September 1, 2005. His Majesty appointed him governor in charge of the general secretariat of the Casablanca governorate and then governor of the El Jadida province on 26 September 2005. November 2010.

Moaz Al-Jamai holds the Order of the Throne, with the rank of Knight, and is married and the father of three children.
