Like every evening, the 11 p.m. news news takes a look at the news broadcast by European television channels. It’s Eurozapping on Wednesday October 16.
The earth shook once again in Türkiye, causing panic in the east of the country. A 5.9 magnitude tremor was recorded. Two hundred people were injured, and around fifty are still hospitalized. Even the television news was interrupted during the tremors.
A resident testifies: “My husband and I were really scared, we took refuge near the wardrobe, then we went out”. But the worst was avoided in this region, already hard hit. Last year, an earthquake caused the deaths of 53,000 people.
