CAN 2025 Qualifiers: Syli of Guinea snatches his six points from the hands of Walyas of Ethiopia

The Syli National of Guinea was opposed to the Walyas of Ethiopia, on the sidelines of the 4th day of the Can 2025 qualifiers, at the Alassane Ouattara stadium in Ebimpe, Ivory Coast. At the end of the meeting, Michel Dussuyer’s team beat Ethiopia with a score of three goals to zero (3-0).

From the start of this meeting, Michel Dussuyer’s team took matters into their own hands with great opportunities against Ethiopia. It was not until the 16th minute that Sehrou Guirassy scored the first goal of the match on a pass from Issiaga Sylla.

Thanks to its control of the situation, Guinea managed to worsen the score in the 19th minute with a goal from Abdoulaye Touré.

Through a penalty obtained, Shrou Grassy scored the third goal in the 21st minute.

Despite other chances obtained by both sides, the score remained unchanged until the referee’s final whistle.

With this double confrontation giving six (6) points to Syli National, Guinea occupies second place in the ranking of its group behind DR Congo.
